I was curious to see how I would realize this brief strip sequence taken from an old page test, I did for a potential client, on DeviantArt, who, at that time, finally declined (I think) my participation to the project.
I don't remember anything of the story and neither who was the cliente. Though, it seems mostly evident that the witch (or mage) is after a treasure chest and on the way to get her hands on the precious object, some goblins (or kobolds), get their hands on her ripping off the top of her dress (actually, in the original one, it seems just that they manage to get her topless without necessarily damage the dress... But I was swept away by the enthusiasm, this time, and I have overinterpreted).
I must admit that the old version lacked facial expressivity and accuracy in camera angles and spatial management.
Of course, this is just a study of what the whole thing could be. The new version of the character is entirely improvised. Some aspects of the dynamic between the two frames aren't perfectly orchestrated. For example, In the second frame she should be flipped horizontally, in which case, I should probably change the light to keep it consistent with the first frame. Though, even the first frame seems to be not perfectly lighted. Where that light, casting the shadow on the hat come from? There is no context. And, finally, just for the pleasure of this "game", I think I would add a staff, held in the right hand to create a "foreground/obstructed framing". Also, the witch could be positioned farther to the right, in the frame.
